I play solo 95% of the time. This IB has been fine. Very few stacks. Seriously people, you scream about something before even trying it.
In the first Iron Banner back in the Jurassic, bounties were harder (get 8 precision sniper kills) and you had to win the game to progress. 5 levels.
Now it’s really easy and y’all are screaming for freelance. Dial it back will ya!??
And no, I am not a top tier player by any measure. So tired of the whining.

So becuase your experience is different, you say the op's point is not valid... What makes your point valid then?
-
My experience is his experience. I was bummed about freelance and then gave the new system a try. It’s pretty much freelance.
-
I think the fact people are complaining is because they tried it and dislike it without freelance. Comparing the difficulty that IB used to be to now is obsolete - difficulty has nothing to do with IB in regard to progression with missions. Just matches, and when people are teamed against stacks. That progression is stifled.

I run solo in IB always. It really has not been an issue. You progress now regardless. That’s was not the case back in the day when facing quite a few more stacks. So yes, it applies. You still progress, get drops, etc.
-
It truly doesn’t. Yes. Grinding away losses all day will amount to progression. But missions where far faster. Even to those that struggled. Plus with missions you unlocked armour sets. Which is what a large majority of IB players are there for. Literally just went up against a stack of 6 clans running through the team. Then joined another match for a stack of 5. Left both. Rather reque that subject myself to that.

So all you have to do is play, get engrams and choose any armor you want. How is this not progression exactly?
