Cross counter activates when 1 of 3 conditions are met: • You land a melee attack, and then the subsequent melee attack will have the Cross Counter perk and unique animation applied. • You use your melee ability, e.g. Tempest Strike (you do not have to hit another player with it), and cross counter will be active for your next melee attack. • You are hit by a melee attack, which immediately activated cross counter and allows you to follow up with a 1 hit kill melee attack. As of right now, the perk only activates on the first condition I listed. It does not activate from the other 2 making this exotic’s perk near useless at the moment. The description of its perk is very clear as well reading “Using your arc melee ability or being being hit by a melee attack will allow you to follow up with an extremely powerful melee counterpunch….” I’ve used this exotic since it’s release, so I am very familiar with how it functions and know for a fact something with its perk activation is broken.
