What about solos? Should they be punished because of how they play and also want a good time?

Did you not read the last sentence of my comment? We both get punished now. And I’m gonna be that person and say it’s a multiplayer game. Go get some friends and play it or use the tools to get people to play it. Don’t complain that your MULTIPLAYER game doesn’t cater to people who want to play alone. Bungie has stated themselves it’s a MMO (even though I don’t think they understand that definition)

I would pick a side and stick to my guns and clearly indicate that to the community. Either cater to it being multiplayer and strictly adhere to it or decide to be more solo oriented. Right now both sides are being punished. Bungie is indecisive and their lack of vision of what they want the game to be is seriously hurting them. Also I love the the PvP in this game. Just wish they would fix melee whiffs / trading (kill trading in general)

Multiplayer game doesn't mean getting rid of solo queue. You won't have a 6 stack ready waiting for you 24/7. It's 2023, not the begining of internet and net coding. Other games do that, no reason Destiny can't do it too. Saying that queueing solo is against the multiplayer is kinda dumb to be honest. Should also you only be allowed to log into the game if you have another 5 players with you already? Form the fireteam on steam, then launch the game? lol. It's like in WoW when Blizzard creates a solo challenge for players to show their knowledge of a class and people complain that it's an mmo and it should be group content, mostly because they're not good enough to do the challenge. That's really dumb. Yet, I do agree that Bungie lacks vision for the game, because they tried to please everyone all the time. And it's bad for them because to please some groups means making it bad for the of the player base. They had it for Year 1 then just tried to please everyone and made the game a huge mess. Now they're kinda trying to move towards that year 1 vision, but with the tuning that they should have done back then instead. Other than that, you're not being punished for facing another 6 stack. You're just getting even at that point and the rest is up to you to be better than the other team. The infamous "git gud". The only ones being punished are the solos, duos, trios, etc. matching a full stack. You can't call it punishment for being stomped when saying that you're not even paying attention to the game itself. It's multiplayer and pvp is competitive by nature no matter what. Nobody else cares if you're not even looking at the game when pvping. "oh my god, they just want to win while not even looking at the game, quickly everyone, let's sacrifice everything else so they can do it".
