Private Match: Enabling "Spectator Mode" To whom it may concern at Bungie, I am the leader of the clan: VICIOUS. We are a mixed community of PVE and PVP players who continue to invest in Destiny 2 and want to focus on promoting Destiny 2 on streams, shorts and media outlets more aggressively via its private match functionality. We have created private match mini games such as "Hide and Seek" and "Zombies" which we know could be enjoyed by wider audiences. What we noticed is there is an opportunity to excel content creation on social media if we could have a "spectator mode" enabled for Private Crucible Matches. It would work using the already established functionality: 1. Requires 1 additional player per team who is either grayed out or labeled "spectator" 2. Uses the already built in camera swap function when a player is deceased. 3. Can swap teams to view as a spectator using R3 on console or PC assigned key What this does is enable view mode which creative minds who enjoy playing with viewers or setting up community events, can freely advertise recorded games, tournaments, private events and mainstream some of the fast paced action. Our clan has come up with work arounds such as elimination games where 1 player on each team jumps off the map to use the 3rd person camera swap function, but this is time consuming and also diminishes the flow of the game.
