Bubble had stayed strong while more and more soft counters got nerfed. It was going to get a PvP nerf eventually. Bungo just gave us one last season to abuse it

Bubble was invincible since day one of Destiny 1 and wasn't a problem. It's called artificial difficulty to make PvE content harder and force people to redo your builds. As for PvP they nefred it because of mode that will never return. Call me any mode where bubble will be absolute win? Hunter stasis super more dangerous then bubble. But of cause you don't thinked that far.

Hunter stasis super. The one that gets stuck on walls? The one I intentionally run at to get the person to cast because it so easy to kill them in the longest super cast animation in the game? The one that a titan exotic can take just by sliding into it? The one that you can literally just walk away from? That super? On top of the fact it means you've got no neutral game and a 45 damage melee? Bubble wins objective based modes. That's a fact. Beyond a super vs super fight, bubble wins 100% of the time. The nerf changed nothing in PvE. It wasn't a problem in D1 because of how strong abilities were. People had 1 shot sticky nades with dumb tracking at 30 second cooldowns. You'd get like 3 or 4 supers a game.
