It's a known issue for Steam users. Ive been experiencing for about a week now. After the 3/16 maintenance I was unable to get past the loading spinner with a infinite "Signing in" prompt that would just give me an error. Was really hoping that it would have been fixed with the 3/23 maintenance but here we are

Do you think Bungie is aware and trying to fix this and may release on update on the weekly reset to fix this issue with steam.

Bungie claims on Twitter that the issues "have subsided" (https://twitter.com/BungieHelp). Do they read these forums carefully? It doesn't appear so. I suspect that means that Bungie "might" fix our problem some time before the weekly reset on Tuesday, but I seriously doubt they will feel bothered enough to put out another hotfix this weekend. That means that we will not be able to play the game that we paid over $100 for any time this weekend.
