Can't log into destiny
Saying there's a increased traffic in the servers and prevents me from logging in

2 RepliesHey all -- I'm able to now login and it seems like the servers have stabilized. I recommend giving it another try. While it is unfortunate, and a little frustrating to essentially be kicked out of the activity you were participating in -- The amount of time, energy, resources, and engineering to keep these servers up and running non-stop is unfathomable and quite honestly, amazing. I couldn't even begin to image the amount of incoming requests that the bungie servers have to deal with on a daily basis let alone managing all the state along with them... So please, take a moment, a deep breath, and a step back to realize that behind all the servers are actual people -- people with feelings, and emotions and complaining about issues without giving constructive criticism isn't going to help anyone. Anyways, remember... Eyes up, Guardian. Ti 🚀

I have not been able to get onto D2 since yesterday. It keeps weaseling me out of game from orbit or even before I choose my character! I paid a lot of money for this game for years now. It would be nice since I have played destiny for the last 9 years if I could get help. Zero response from fb and Twitter. This problem HAS NOT subsided! Fix it!

Way too many things need to be patched and then you have to contend with their crappy servers. Bungie.... invest in your business. To nickel and dime everyone then have server issues is uncalled for.

3 RepliesMany connection errors then booted with a battleeye error popup. WTF is wrong with Bungies servers lately, they are lucky to stay on for a day or so before they go to hell again. Bungie needs to get on top of these server issue as it's a bloody joke now, the game is literally becoming unplayable. About two days ago I got booted twice from the avalon mission solo, booted a few times before that elsewhere and booted again just doing a lost sector. Think I've been booted more times this year than since the game has launched, absolutely insane.

I got in…I had to restart my PS 5 2 times I think it’s the download cache that’s leaving something out there and it’s causing a glitch in your connection …clear you cache and restart everything

I am getting tired of spending my money on this game and still not being able to play. Bungie should refund a portion of our fees since we lose time to accomplish the Weekly quest. This is a poor system.

1 ReplyThis is far from unusual, destiny 2 is notorious for unsuccessful planned maintenance causing server instability for years now. I’m honestly impressed I got to play at all today. Still doesn’t make it any less aggravating

Was running Spire of the Watcher with some friends. My friend got WEASEL'd when he switched loadouts using the in game loadouts. He reconnected with no issues. Once he connected we all started getting the "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" message. First encounter of Spire of the Watcher starts. About 2 minutes in, I got PLUM'd and Battleye had a popup saying "Client could not respond." When I tried to join in, I was met with a loading queue for about 5 mintues, then got STORK'd. :( I know hotfixes can introduce bugs sometimes but...dang. I was really looking forward to playing tonight.:(

The people they get to code must be new to it because it’s atrocious how bad it’s been since light fall has dropped and seems to be getting worse every patch

Terrible story, 1 new strike, no new crucible/gambit maps, terrible servers, worst expansion never felt scammed before this expansion…

Yeah, I got booted from destiny 2 due to Battle eye error and when I tried to log back in, it gives me the "One moment Please, Due to increased traffic, login services to Destiny 2 are currently being throttled. Please stay on this screen until login services stabilize and you are logged into Destiny 2"

Welp now I got the notice the servers are down…straight up down …what’s up Bungle…this isn’t cool I’ve been playing destiny since it came out in 2014 while I was unemployed and playing all day everyday and this year I feel is the worst server wise! And I was just starting to enjoy this season …but this keeps happening and that is not at all enjoyable!

While running a Lost sector was kicked from server and told that login is being throttled.
