Honestly I really don't feel like a guardian anymore. I mostly play PVE excluding raids from encountering quite a few toxic people on the LFG discord and I generally know that survivability is king in most of destiny content.
I main Titan the most but also play quite a but of warlock as well (especially recently) and dabble in hunter a little. I run 100 Resilience all the time and with 2 sometimes 3 elemental damage reduction mods on my chest armor. And when I go out into Neomuna or play any of the new content it just feels like I immediately get shredded by a light breeze.
If I'm not running something like Lorely or standing in my warlock well then me and my squad mates usually get 2-3 tapped by bosses or just orange bar enemies.
It is insane how much of a jump in difficulty you took one season into the new dlc.
I assumed you would play it more cautiously and increase the difficulty a little over each season until we got to the final shape but you just went all in didn't you? I enjoy a good challenge. It feels good to overcome an obstacle you struggled against, but that same difficulty can sour the victory if it is TOO hard.
Maybe I'm just venting or I need to "Git Gud" but you are going to find it extremely hard to get new players into the hellscape that is considered the "casual" content for destiny as well as retaining said players as well as your current playerbase.

Yep. I'm recovering from Open Heart Surgery. I love Destiny 2. I can barely handle it in my current condition.

I am using Hoal and infinite heavy ammo with the new exotic LMG, playing support with healing shielding and infinite heavy ammo, seems to be the best with randoms on Hero. Last season with did not need to get gud on just Hero, or carry a team. I cannot imagine I enjoy legend or master, or want to invest in GM. Everything is a lot slower, champs are sponges close to bosses. You need a good/amazing build for solo lost sectors now, even with the new champ stun changes. Top and casual players have moved further apart, by an inane amount.

It is true , today i stop playing this game, it no more relaxing. I hate all that jumping , and every expansion is to be find more and more, and as that is not enough, we got time to , it fills as i have a race to win. No sorry not for me, so good bye Destiny, no more

I was struggling on my Titan too. It just didn't feel the same. I suggest doing what I did and forget Solar and forget Strand. Void is where it's at this season. With the new fragments and Void artifact mods you can make an extremely strong and durable Titan build that feels like the good 'old days' imo. Devour beats solar Restoration any day. Orb generation is through the roof. That new Void fragment w/full heal on kill is a legit lifesaver. You can spec deep into overshields if you want. Personally I go with the Volatile/Explode/Devour build because it cuts down big time on the bullet sponge factor of Lightfall mobs and I HATE 3 fragment builds. Ditch HOIL for Armamentarrium (sp lazy no coffee yet blah) and you'll be spamming really strong void grenades, weakening everything, and getting full heals on every kill. Yeah Lightfall still sucks, but this brings the fun back imo.

Solar and strand are still powerful on titan and I saw some player make stasis work with the new exotic But yea void this season as a good edge because of the artifact But I've been exclusively playing strand on my titan so far and used solar for the campaign The way I build them my solar titan make orbs so the time and has constant regen and radiant Strand version just suspend everything and have woven mail active for every fight and as a bonus create nuke that suspend with the seasonal artifact

Strand just doesn't allow me to play how I like. Suspending everything is great, until you can't. Too much hiding behind cover and waiting for health to regen. Damage mitigation is good, but there's SO much incoming damage in Lightfall it's just not enough. Strand Titan really needs some kind of "get X health back on kill/suspend" or something. With Void I can just slay out like I always should be able to unless I'm in a GM or something. Making everything feel like a GM was a really stupid decision...

You think I don't know that? It's not the same as Devour or Resto as you have to run out and grab the orb though.

Lets make every subclass the same bit with a different colour Also strand is fantastic for higher content and will be top tier for GM Like how stasis was Not every subclass need a heal

Like wtf is your issue....am I not allowed to like one subclass over another? Strand is fine on Hunter and Warlock. I don't like Strand Titan. It's only going to be top tier for GM IF Tangle spam on champs remains as it is. Which I can't believe it will judging on how much Bungie loves killing builds and nerfing crap. Anyway cool talk, play your way that's fine with me.

I agree with you about Strand being meh on a Titan. Been using it a bit on my Warlock though, and it seems to be quite strong 👍

It's so meh. Yeah Warlock is where it's at for Strand. I haven't dabbled in Hunter much so far this season.

You would be surprised Some peoples only know the mods for what they copied over Most peoples complaining about difficulty atm have no ideas how to build The number of war lock with the strand osteo build that had no ideas how to use it....

Gryphalcon hunters are insane As for my warlock I always used nezarec sin paired with devour and you will spam your abilities
