It makes everything take longer, which I think is what they actually wanted.
You know, for the pretty graphs they show to the people in suits.
It's not that I cant do it, it just turned the annoyance dial up a few notches.
The exotic glaive quest is outright ridiculous. I agree with that.
Also no....they are independent ...they don't need a chart of playtime ....that comments never made sense because time played doesn't mean money spent for D2 ...unlike many other games
Any company that produces a product or provides a service, answers to someone. Bungie is currently funded by 2 corporations, NetEase and Sony. Dont think for a second that Bungie didnt have to provide data to back up the influx of hundreds of millions of dollars and in Sonys case, billions, to prove they could produce a product/service that would bring in revenue at a profit. People/companies dont invest for fun, they invest to make a profit. Playtime in a video game backs that up (among other things). The more you play, the more you are exposed to the store front and players that have things you want... that's why they give out bright engrams... you cant decode those at Rahool, conveniently.

That would be the exact reason because in any other regard these changes make no sense whatsoever.
