Don't listen to the "get gud" people. They are just incapable of acknowledging that some people are casual players or haven't the time to invest in the game.
People are different. The game used to cater to all sorts of different players. Had they just added Master and Grand Master to more activities then they would have pleased everyone, but by just making the entire game more difficult they have frustrated many casual and solo players. It's like telling 20% of your player base that you don't want their custom any more.

I used to play a lot I was hardcore into destiny. I’m a casual now. Play when I can. It’s not that difficult. I came back after a two year break for the last like 5-6 weeks of last season. I found it incredibly easy most things are at least interesting now. I got conquerer like it was nothing I’m excited for more of a challenge

Getting gud is the most ignorant thing anyone can say. Especially, when the get good people are never really good themselves. If getting gud were a thing, I'd be Michael Jordan and not here posting. Everyone is not the same talent level. I agree with you, people should stop listening to the trolls. Respect for one another goes a long way.

Raids are just a game mode oriented towards mechanics play and getting to know the flow of the raid. They aren't the hardest content out there in D2.

Bungie logic lol I actually think they're trying to get people to stop playing. They've 3 new games coming in the next 18 months & need people to move on. It's literally a much more tedious boring experience & 99% of the loot is just old reused -blam!-. Have they no pride in their work?

Tbh I think it’s this horrible attitude where nobody can say anything negative ever. Look at the Twitter bubble. It’s ridiculous. No wonder they think it’s going great.

I can kinda speak on this after seeing a discord chat log ages ago. Studio mentality is to block out ANY negativity, as in mute/block anything non positive. It's to protect mental health, fair enough, but it's ended with everyone in positivity bubbles & thinking they're god's gift. Sone saff where sent home for wellness days afte a few of the summits where they heard negative feedback. The new twitter destiny ACC is a step in the right direction regarding protecting them personally but the positivity bubbles remain i guess.

They use their personal Twitter accounts to ask people what they think of the game and “how the game feels” and then they literally answer comments by saying that this is their personal Twitter account and you should post your comments elsewhere. And then there are these legions of literal fanatics defending them saying you can’t blame a CM for how bad the game is when it’s actually specifically their job to deal with this kind of feedback and to mediate between the company and the customers. They have everything so backwards and twisted, it’s amazing. I haven’t bought Lightfall and man, I’m not gonna lie, I really want to buy it. I’ve been playing a bit outside the new expansion and I miss playing the game and all that. But I can’t bring myself to give one more cent to these forced-positivity sellouts who care about nothing but Eververse.

Regarding lightfall, depends how much you play. Campaign is very mid, takes about 5 hours, very standard, feels like a tutorial for strand pulled from WQ. Every mission is an arena where you run around trying not to die & taking pot shots at bosses. Post campaign is ok for a day or so, exotic quests all very basic, go here go there, stand here, kill this, exotics themselves aren't worth using either. Weekly missions are different but you only need 1 run per week & it's tied to doing neonuma stuff first. Neonuma is dead as a location, empty. Strand is kinda cool tbf, only real positive I'd say. If you're gonna run 3 characters & play a lot, maybe buy it. Deffo buy in a sale if you don't wanna buy now, just for strand.
