I know how you feel. I've been going through the same thing with my i9-9900K, 3080TI & 32GB (3200) ram. The best I can do is play in 4k currently at 105 fps, however, when I used to play on my 1080p monitor a few days ago I would get 75 - 80 fps. Prior to Lightfall's launch, it was an easy 165fps locked, I don't know what happened to cause these drops. I hope Bungie at least acknowledges this post. I've tried rolling back drivers & do a fresh clean of the drivers, reinstalling the game & re-installing windows nothing is fixed. Please Bungo, I hope y'all fix this!

    In reading your response it gives me hope that this will get patched / addressed eventually. For the time being I’m assuming we’ll make do, it’s just disheartening to encounter small (but game impacting) issues like frame drops that makes you question why you even bothered saving for and acquiring a new gaming PC - at least for me anyways. ***I also realize that attempting to diagnose a singular cause for performance issues is no easy task and if PC gaming these last 5 years have taught me anything, it’s to be patient. Prior to this this new season I wasn’t experiencing any of these issues, which sounds like a common thing that is said in various forum posts I’ve perused, but it’s the truth. Only thing we can do is bide our time and hope for the best. Again, to any of the Bungie team who observes theses posts, I write all this with the utmost respect; when you work hard and have a game your passionate about that doesn’t run well, it’s a deflating experience.
