Microsoft accounts

I have all my Destiny 2 DLC content downloaded under one of my Microsoft account and I use another account which has my character on it. This has been working great on PC for over a year. Today, this no longer works. As long as I had the account that I the content purchased from in the store signed into the store and the account that has my character signined into the xbox app, it worked great. Anyone know what changed in the past couple of days? I'm stuck right now between buying all the content again which is a ton of money, or starting all over with a character which has hundreds of hours into building it up. Any ideas?
