Hey there. Which virus checker do you use?
If it's Avast, could you go to Menu, Settings, Update, and check to see if there's a client update?

It’s AVG; I can try to run with it turned off for the next gaming session and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for your reply.

No problem. I was getting absolute rock-solid system hangs in Far Cry 6, and a few in Destiny 2, all went away when I realised Avast had a pending update and got it updated. The next time I had that kind of crash, I immediately checked Avast, and sure enough it had another update. So yeah maybe AVG could be doing something similar.
