Grey, my point is that if you had read my post you'd know I wasn't asking for anything below heroic/legendary to be changed difficulty-wise. What happened here is that you didn't read my post, then you assumed what my opinion was and acted kind of smug about it. Then you quadrupled down and now you're just hoping I'll lose interest in responding to you so you can collect some semblance of dignity from this interaction, but that's not going to happen, probably.

I checked and unsurprisingly you’ve never done a raid, dungeon, or any actually difficult content in your life. Which adds up for the guy complaining about patrols. Maybe once baby has cleared his first raid then we can talk about how patrols need to be easier for you :( You could have cleared your first raid in half the time it took you to type up your essay on the game being too hard. Then done a second in the time you’ve spent talking to me My apologies for dignifying anything you had to say, you clearly don’t play this game. I forgot that the only people that complain about the game being too hard are the people that don’t actually play it.

Grey I was not aware that to actually "play" the game you have to have completed certain content of the game that a player deems as "worthy". I guess that means the majority of people in this game are not "players", since the majority of people don't do those things. I'm glad we've reached the point in our narrative arc where you look feverishly at my profile to try to claw back face to save from making a drive-by comment on a post you didn't read and looking dumb for it. This is one of my favorite parts. Shall we continue into greater rhetorical pastures of the age-old "git gud" variety?

Grey, I'm saying patrols specifically on Neomuna are tuned too high difficulty-wise. Patrol areas are baseline content. You can't select a difficulty level for them. The ones on every destination except for Neomuna are fine. There are a great number of people who feel this way. If you think we're all so bad at this game, then maybe this game is beneath your talents?

The point of my post is that the content I enjoy is baseline content, content which has now been tuned too high on Neomuna, specifically. If you disagree, that's great, but it sounds like you don't play the content I play. I'm not asking for a difficulty change to your preferred content. Why do you have a problem with me asking for a difficulty change to content you don't play or don't see as "actually playing"?

I think the power handicap is only in Neomuna. Bungie wanted Neomuna's difficulty to feel more like the Plaguelands from D1. An end-game patrol basically, so it's meant to be harder than the others. Since I soloed GMs in previous seasons, I don't believe my opinion is valid here, but I'll agree it's stupid to handicap players outside of end-game content, and even then, I think it should be complexity, not raw damage alterations. The game feels no different from before. It just feels like we take longer to kill enemies (if you don't have a fully-fledged build tbh) and enemies force you into cover way more often only to rush you anyway so you can't heal.
