I and many other on steam have the same problem. It hasn't worked since 3/23 hotfix and I am stuck in the loading screen. I hope bungie releases an update soon to fix this. We need more people writing this problem on the help forum for PC support for bungie to take notice and quickly solve this issue.

I just fixed mine using info at this post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/262499337?sort=0&page=0 It was the audio output for me. For some reason the output of the destiny app was blank, and not even default (normally I have it routed through a GOXLR, after the update it changed all my settings. Hopefully this might work for you to! best of luck!
