Have you tried? Most people don't give commendations, partly thru the screen not loading & party bcoz no one cares. Strikes are the best, but gambit is bad and PvP is non existent

Yes. Strikes are almost guaranteed. Gambit should now be better than previous since they extended the time. 6 man crucible allows 2 to distribute between 5 players…but 3 man like competitive allows 2 commendations for 2 players.

No one gives commendations in PvP was my point & most don't in gambit either. Most people just don't care

I've gotten tons of commendations in PvP. I usually am at the top of the leaderboard, though

No one has time to look at the leaderboard lol. The games I'm in no one gives them, maybe 1 or 2 per game but that majority end with 0.

The patch last week made the screen last longer it seems. I have a solid 15-20 seconds to look at the leaderboard at least after every iron banner match

Only way I can do that is go straight to the leaderboard & click the stars near people's names. If i go back there's never enough time to do it. To be honest i did stop doing it completely because no one else bothered.

If you participate in endgame content like raids and dungeons, just message in the text chat that you'd like a couple commendations. Has worked for me when I wanted some. I don't really care anymore since the requirements for the ranks were lowered
