That's not accurate... assumed, based off old metrics... GMs aren't live yet. Let me bring some context to the tuber hype. Enemy HP and resistances scale alongside DPS. So that boss talking 120k per hit in GMs has 10x the amount of HP & more dmg resistance, does significantly more dmg to the player... and that's considering the old system. Even if the enemies on Nemomuna are tanky/spongy... when the player is leveled, they do significantly less dmg than enemies in GMs. Those 2 factors are very important contextually to this debate.

  • someone else might have already said this, but we don't get more powerful on Nemomuna, we will forever be as powerful as we are now unless Bungie patches the game and changes the zones power limit.

    They didn't. That's the problem P, the game is in trouble, but not for the reasons people think. The loadout system breaks the game. The scaling changes per the graph you're referencing being skewed and dramatized in a biased way for engagement metrics on youtube is disingenuous. The graph indicates that the scaling changes have NOT been comprehensively integrated. One glaring exception being raids and dungeons... but also other zones. That's not good, but the loadout system issues are worse.

    Eh they will probably just go the simple route and make any subclass swaps reset all cooldowns. They could even give it a 10 second suppression effect when you swap. Those would be easy fixes. Possibly wouldn't be too hard to despawn all orbs on swaps either. (Not a dev so thats just a gusss) Doing it before an encounter it wouldn't hurt anything but in the middle of a tought fight would be...problematic.

    devour swap will reset your regen, but with the fragment and aspect exploits (that I'm purposely not explaining in detail) by doing same subclass swaps, you won't lose regen if you don't change your super, grenade, etc... but fragments and aspects can be swapped without any penalty. And since Bungie has not yet prohibited macros or scripting these actions can be programmed to happen with a single input or automatically. Hardware add-on devices and modded gamepads can do these thing too... on console, so it's not just a PC issue. Like I said, I'm trying to be a canary... this IS a huge problem, it hasn't fully manifested yet, but Eso's vid he posted today let the cat out of the bag. Anc I know he did it on purpose to expose the issue, but I was already testing loadouts and discovered these problems. Other people are too... and it's only a matter of time until the spark hits the tinder. Anyone can do what Eso did in that video. It's super easy. Oh, for context... he showed how anyone can do master VoG confluxes using devour swap and you don't even need to move. And that... is THE most basic of loadout exploits now in the game... and it makes it so that literally almost anyone could solo a master raid encounter. In fact, I think most people could solo "Wait for it" too. That's just a marker... the tip of the iceberg, the problem is so much worse.

  • Swaps like that were a thing pre-loadouts as well, just wasn't as fast/easy to do Even fragment swaps were done in low-mans pre-LF but again they weren't as simple as "lol press loadout" but it wasn't intricate either it was literally just quickly swapping the fragments out Honestly I'm surprised devour swap hasn't had any attempts at a patch even before loadouts existed then again I doubt it's very utilized in the grand scheme of things

    I'm not disputing the metrics, I take issue with the interpretation, as I explained. Bungie has a reputation for implementing systems half baked, seems the scaling changes were no different... that's what those figures actually indicate. A huge mistake. Everything, or nothing at all when it comes to delta scaling of difficulty factors like dmg dealt, received, enemy health, etc. It was obviously not comprehensive.
