Fact: all Bungie cares about is the minority hardcore player base, and forgets about everyone else. Take a hard look around and you will see what I mean. Just look at all the content changes made, it was not for your average casual player. Why do you think they offer mental help services? They know their content causes severe anxiety and leads to depression/suicidal tendencies. It would not surprise me if they face a string of law suits soon over it.

    - SBMM in main playlists. - Cheesy brain dead metas since Witch Queen to entice PvE players in with ease of use. - Craftable weapons so casuals don’t have to farm for things. - Resilience making you border line immortal in PvE without an ounce of awareness the past year making the game easier than ever. - New Raid is very easy. - Seasonal weapons made easier than ever to obtain. - Now soon making trials easier than ever with two mercies. The list goes on…. ————————————————————————————- Yet bungie changes resilience down by only 10% so you still have 30% damage resist and toughen the adds up a lil bit so people actually have a make a build (it’s almost like the system was put it for a reason) and everyone’s having a sh*t fit. Generally embarrassing the amount of self entitled adults crying on a gaming forum when the game has been playing on auto pilot for the last year and now people actually have to pay a tiny bit of attention again. It’s literally sad. But hey don’t forget the games being catered to the tryhards💀

  • If Destiny was designed as a MMO/RPG type game, that makes sense, but it’s original design was as a FPS shooter with a cooperative system built in. Only now they want to change the format to make it build specific and in the process ramp up the difficulty to match. For some adaptation is easy, but some just want to run and gun without having to put much effort into crafting.

  • Hardcore players tend to be organized in clans, so team based is a plus for them and only competitive is skill based, but trials is not and they tend to play trials more then competitive due to better rewards.
