You don't just drastically change how difficult the game is. That's like changing elden ring's or dark soul's difficulty to something equivalent to a Super Mario game. It's trash to just totally over haul a games difficulty. There's not better rewards, I'm still getting guns released multiple seasons ago. Armor pieces released probably 10 seasons ago. It's trash. They should have kept it as is, where you can simply choose difficulty for certain activities.

You may have a point if you can show that a majority of the player base are vocal on online forums. Even if 20% of the player base are vocal and every single one of them is in agreement which they are not it makes your statement absolutely absurd.
