Doesn't everyone? For instance someone who prioritizes their own experience over raw data? So much of the complaining is based on individual anecdote. The naysayers just ignore people with different experiences. People are twisting what Bungie actually said and complaining about something different. Bungie admitted their system wasn't perfect. They talked about the problem areas. They admitted their system was a work in progress. From my perspective the data they presented was exactly what was needed to support their statements. They showed that some people had outlier matches that would have sucked. But relatively few matches like that happened. The people claiming it happened to them over and over were exaggerating, lying, or had the worst luck imaginable. But that doesn't stop people from denouncing the whole system and "bungo". I think the use of the nickname pretty much illustrates your particular bias. Is the new matchmaking system perfect? No. Is it impossible to do matchmaking perfectly for a game like Destiny? Probably. Is the new system a step in the right direction? Is it better than it was last season? I'd say it was. Are some people going to continue to find any reason to jump on the "bungo" hating bandwagon? Of course they are.

Bro if you think fair data is - when you have a free epic games collaboration - not showing player retention - ignoring to mention said influx because of that reason Do you see players from that epic games collab still playing? Still as en masse as they did during the free event? Thats cherry picking data. Raw data is leaving no such details out. They did. They didn't mention it at all

None of that has anything to do with what they were talking about. You bringing those subjects into the conversation just illustrates your agenda. If you hate Bungie so much why engage with them at all? Why do you feel Bungie has an obligation to provide you with any data at all? And just how complicated do you think evaluating data on player retention for a years running game with the sort of lackluster FTP component Destiny has would be? What benefits would Bungie gain by having that conversation? People around here can't seem to even understand the difference between game developers and corporate management. It's all just "bungo", right? And certainly they have little appreciation for how hard game development actually is.

If you think its blind hate in bungie instead of fair criticism that they never addressed or acknowledged because it doesn't fit the narrative then I am sorry If I send in data with only the gains at my company instead of the loss and only show half the data, its called lying or cherry picking. Did you miss the title of the thread? Or the post I commented on? Your comment had nothing to do with the topic under discussion. Just another slightly incoherent repetitious rant against Bungie. Why do you feel so entitled that a company should cater to you? Why would they provide data that didn't pertain to the topic they were discussing? Do you have anything interesting to say about matchmaking or do you just want to continue to blindly lash out? What in the world do you get out of this? Nobody outside your cult takes it seriously.

Wouldn't be the first time they've showed us sections of "graphs" telling us everything is working fine despite their socials being blown up by thousands of people saying and showing them it's clearly not working the way it should be.
