Bro you’re using double primary with Monte Carlo on 2/3 of your characters. Maybe run at least one special and things will be different for you

You can see what they have on their characters currently, but you don't see their vault. I keep double primaries on my characters I don't play simply to make it easier to transfer stuff, but I only use double primaries when doing bounties. You can't see their actual loadouts unless they are playing at that current time, so this argument is just an informal fallacy.

Or I can play the game how I want and ask that content not be influenced by a fraction of the community.

Edited by Say Whatt: 3/29/2023 2:42:25 PMIt’s not gonna work like that. Ya you can run double primaries but for harder content, why would you think this would work? Ya it definitely can but it’s going to be much more difficult compared to running a proper special weapon.

I'd never assume my play style in base content would be enough against higher content. After this thread, I am reintroducing specials into my builds. Back in the day, if I remember correctly, slot 2 was locked in as special and it was actually easier to understand the game in those times. I don't like being "forced" to use specials but it's not a huge deal. I will say, specials haven't reduced the tedium of the newer tuning on Neomuna very much.

If I took a sword to oryx and complained that I couldn’t kill the boss because I was “playing how I wanted” I’d look pretty silly. If I baked a cake with cat litter because I was “cooking how I wanted” it would be the same. Do what ever you want, bake a cake with cat litter just don’t complain it tastes like -blam!-.
