Why do you feel like everyone should sweat in this game? I don't understand that. Maybe I'm misinterpreting.

Here's your problem: What you think 'sweating' is, is called playing the game. We didn't have terms like sweating or tryhard, it went without saying that games are something you overcome with effort. I don't know what happened to you people the last decade things got super sensitive with a huge aversion to effort. Dopamine game design trends of the 2010s, I dunno. So when you say "why do you want people to be sweaty", I reject the premise. It's not a real critique to me, there's no such thing being sweaty vs some not-sweaty approach to a game. All I'm saying is overcome it.

Using your brain and completing mechanics is engaging. Watching heads explode is entertaining. Dumping an entire mag into a patrol enemy is neither of those things.

Is reloading some kind of super inconvenient thing all of a sudden? I legitimately do not understand the emergency. Enemies are thicker, yes, destroy them and move on. Adds to the list of things nobody cared about in Destiny; Patrol Zone. Who even cares about the difficulty of certain parts of a patrol zone.

You’ve never completed a single dungeon or raid. I wouldn’t expect someone who spends all of their time in patrol to understand the games most basic and grindy activities becoming tedious ruins it

I've seen you people use virtually every kind of game history to affirm your misguided takes. I could have done dungeons, raids, GM whatever, it wouldn't matter because the long and short of it is you have no idea how to respond to what I said. Stop lurking profiles and looking for excuses. I don't want to make any game unwelcome to sweater vests, but they certainly have some pretty strong opinions about who should be welcome in "their" games. I used to get mad in overwatch because kids would use symmetra's gun to drag chairs to the point. Then I realized they don't care if we win. I wasn't in comp, so I had to understand that there were all kinds of people having all kinds of fun in the game. If they want to drag a chair, cool whatever, maybe I don't play with them or maybe I drag chairs with them or I try to compensate for them. But ultimately I can't tell them how to have fun.

A shooter that makes you need 4 headshots to kill a red bar or 3 mags to kill a yellow bar... ON PATROL? Yeah, that makes perfect sense, ALL shooters are this hard, no doubt about it. But in the end, what matters is that Bungie won't take long to tune down the difficulty. It's either that or keep losing engagement from casual and average players, which btw are the VAST majority of players, the ones that give the most money to Bungie.

Nobody cares about Neptune enough to quit Destiny over it.
