Exactly. Creating a build for certain content takes 5 minutes and they even finally gave us in-game loadouts (which, even without the artifact being part of it is a huge step up for those who didn’t know about or refused to use DIM). The majority of the content in the game is finally engaging and it feels more consistently about enjoying the gameplay than a meaningless grind through mind-numbingly easy slop.

  • The thing is, different things are fun for different people. I'm not saying I have a solution to making everyone happy, just that I don't find difficult content engaging or fun. It's literally made me stop playing except a couple hours here or there on a Tuesday. I was engaged with Destiny before, though.

  • Yeah I get that. Not trying to take pleasure in anyone’s misery or anything. I hope they do bring back the old difficulty as an option and just work on scaling rewards based on difficulty (that could use some work right now, tbh). That doesn’t seem like something that would be impossible. I just don’t want all this new, more challenging content taken away because I’m finally not bored with 95% of the game, that’s all. Everyone should be able to enjoy the game. Hope they find a way to make that happen. Cheers. 👍

  • Content is not engaging - it’s tedious. Raids are engaging. Bullet sponges are not.

  • Stop tickling majors and bosses with primaries and they really don't feel that bad.

  • Red bar cabal on patrol have more health than master raids.

  • Having done both, I will say that they most certainly do not, despite how people like to joke about it.
Neomuna Goblin HP 250 Master Raid Goblin HP 375 Body shots to kill goblin with Rufus on Neomuna (base default damage without the +25% surge damageboost) 28 Body shots to kill goblin with Rufus in Master Vog (with +25% surge damage boost) 21
The above is from the link. 25% of 28 is 7. 28 - 7 is 21. Which makes sense since there was a +25% damage boost with the weapon they used for the test. So it would take 7 shots less to get a kill. Meaning that redbars in both Master content and Neomuna have the same time to kill, if you do not use a surge weapon. While the person who did this test is correct in saying that enemies are easier to kill while working with the surge for the week, they omit vital info on using weapons that do not work with the weekly surge. Which is a lie by omission. Another useful information left out form that chart is that Neomuna keeps you at -20 the same as master level content. So yes, when used to tell half the story numbers can lie.

  • Neomuna is -15 not -20 and power levels are meaningless for determining incoming and outgoing damage as every activity has its own scaling modifiers regardless of power level.

I thought it was -20 due to master and Neomuna both having enemies with the same redsword icons. My mistake. What about them taking the same amount of shots to kill when using non surge weapons?

We should see more one hit kills.

  • I was pointing out that the link you provided was biased and left out a lot of details to say 'master content enemies die faster,' which is only true under certain conditions. Weather patrol ads should take more/same/less shots is not here or there. I honestly don't see what so bad about having 1 'hard' patrol area and 7 easy ones, but if it changes I would also do not see it as a bad thing. It's not like people at my level are spending too much time in patrols. To your second point about bungie, they seem to be making enemies easier to kill in everything outside of raids. They even said that we could potentially 1 shot redbars in GMs.

My personal gripe is with legend+ content. I’m just using patrol as the baseline
