Contrary to popular opinion, i actually find the remake to be good, or at least the idea of it. The execution is a whole other thing.
I like that it no longer is a straight forward sprint from spawn to boss type of strike now and that you actually have to take part in the action.
There was nothing funny about running from blight to blight with a pretty large amount of ads in them,
Most of the time solo because of your 2 randoms driving to the end waiting for someone else to destroy the blights.
The funny thing is, the drive with the payload whilst a bit slower, is how it would have been if everyone went for the blights instead of skipping them. The first boss is more like a boss now rather then a major.
The rest until the Tormentor is basically just the same, Cabals instead of Takens oh and 2 Treshers.
The final boss is no longer a push over and whilst just a bullet sponge, can and will be more of a threat.
The increase to the overhaul gameplay doesn't bother me. It helps with completing bounties and you also don't get pulled by a speedrunner.
My only complaint would be that the enemies and the first boss is a bit to tanky, scaling down of their health a bit would help making this a better strike.
