The Last Word Catalyst
For Bungie's Weapons Team's consideration:
I love The Last Word, and would love for it to be a more viable option in PvE. I think Triple Tap would be a good catalyst as it would let us "yee-haw" during ad-clearing and going up against yellow bars and bosses. Yes, we have Crimson, but The Last Word is more fun IMO.
I don't think that a Triple Tap catalyst would make The Last Word more of a menace in PvP compared to Crimson, Ace of Spades, or any other weapon; but what do I know? I'm just a simple-minded space cowboy wannabe Hunter.

Edited by Dark Radon: 5/3/2023 3:14:47 PMI like the idea of First Curse when ADS'ing. I remember First Curse having Triple Tap, so I'd like to see that in The Last Word's hip fire mode. I certainly won't mind a PvE damage buff especially against yellow bars (I just tested that Crimson does way more damage), but am a little hesitant for the extra ammo because of the OP potential in PvP. In think The Last Word rewards patience and precision, which is why I like Triple Tap for the extra endurance in PvE without being OP in PvP.

How about a catalyst that turns it into the first curse when aiming down sights. Since the exotics are counterparts

Triple tap wouldn't do much it's not very good in pve due to a lack of good damage versus other hc's it needs a 30% buff in pve and a catalyst that gives it an extra like 3 ammo.
