Normal suspend time is 8 seconds, and goes up to 12 while Thread of Continuity is equipped. Drengar's lash normally gets this benefit, but if you are using Abeyant Leap it stays at 8 seconds. I used a shackle grenade with both the exotic and fragment equipped, and its suspend lasted 12 seconds, so just the barricade suspend is affected
