Crashing

before i played fine but recently the past few weeks i have been unable to play most activities due to game just crashing out mid activity. ive reinstalled the game 2 times now and rolled back drivers and nothing seems to fix it. before it was a broccoli error but now its just crashing no error code at all. even tried just fishing for a bit and it still crashed so i dont understand how the game went from working perfectly fine to just non stop crashing.

  • Yes, my brother and I have the same issues and it started at the same time. Here's the build info for our PCs. Both my brother and I have very different ones and neither of us can play Destiny 2 anymore. Our specs is as follows. His PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU 2.90 GHz 8.00 GB RAM NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER My PC: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor 4.70 GHz 32.0 GB RAM AMD Radeon RX 6700 XTW When did the issues start? 1-3 weeks ago. What have we both tried for both PCs? - Making sure both pc and graphic's drivers are up to date - Verifying game files in steam - Running disk check for errors on Windows - Deleting the Bungie folder in appdata - Turning off all in-game overlays (steam and discord) - Reducing graphics settings - Reinstalling the game - Capping FPS at 60 - Checking power supply - Checking hardware connections Where does the crashing occur? Seems to only happen on Destiny 2. Could happen anywhere. We've seen it.... - Idle in Tower - Idle in Orbit - Mid Crucible match - Mid seasonal activity - Fishing on destinations (can't really play the game, period) What does it look like when the game crashes? 1: Game freezes randomly for about 4 seconds with audio glitch sound. 2: Screen goes black. 3: PC reboots to desktop. Hopefully this is a game issue that Bungie sees and can fix.
