I too am still having this issue. My Titan and Hunter have been basically unplayable for the whole event so far. It blocks the UI for cooldowns and ammo count. It also pushes subtitles very close to the reticle for most weapons.

I'm having the same issue.

I think it may require a character with the add kindling step part of the quest- which only requires one to visit eva and then imbue a piece of armor. I did a run of the EAZ first. Still incompletable quest, but once i imbued a piece of armor the annoyance disappeared. On both of my alts. Perhaps abandoning and restarting the quest solves it?
