I sided with The Brotherhood of Steel with the Minutemen on the side.
I figured not only did the the Commonwealth need a little more order, by working with them there were less human casualties.
As for my favorite weapon, a western revolver with explosive rounds. Fully upgraded with the maxed out Gunslinger perk, it deals 215-225 damage with each shot.
How about the rest of you?
If you chose a faction plus the Minutemen, who was your primary faction?
Discuss.

First playthrough I chose institute as it's what Shaun wanted and the overseers guardian was the best just mix the double bullets with single fire to get most damage

Edited by Cultmeister: 7/31/2023 7:51:10 AMThe Nuka-Breaker from FNV that I modded into it. The only downside to it is that the model takes up like a good third of the screen…

Edited by High Charity: 7/30/2023 11:13:34 PMMinutemen because every other faction is full of shitheads, Minutemen just want to build a community in the Wasteland they call home. Deliverer is the best weapon

Institute spray and pray

Institute and I have these explosive burning 10MM/combat rifle

my favorite weapon… idk. the upgraded fat man is pretty funny but i found this super broken 10mm that takes like no ap per shot so you can pretty much play the entire game in slow motion. idk if that’s my favorite but it definitely the best weapon ive found. but honestly… nothing beats a x10 sneak hit with a super sledge or a sword i sided with the institute because the minutemen look stupid bos has annoying/dry characters and the railroad is also stupid and siding against the institution guarantees that everything stays shitty

The Brotherhood, they are the only legit power that can bring some sort of stability to the wasteland , yes they can be zealots about technology sometimes, but just look around, they kind of have a point The Minutemen mean well , but if the lone survivor has to find, defend, supply and organize every single settlement, then they are grasping at straws The Institute doesn't give 2 turds about the lives of people on the surface, all the medical breakthroughs could make life so much better , but they hoard it for those they deem worthy, never sided with them The Railroad, no I'm not willing to die for something that can be rebuilt New Nevada, the faction my courier started in New Vegas, they allied with the NCR and Brotherhood and have orders to kill any Legion on sight , My courier runs it all with an army of military robots at his fingertips...if he can get yes man to listen to him again

Minutemen first time. As for weapons. AER15 (laser AR) and the Fusillade GL.

The BOS is the only option. The perks are too good to pass up. The Disciples Cutlass from Nuka World. I kill the Disciples every playthrough just for this cutlass. Kills anything in 1 to 3 stabs. I don’t even remember what I like to use before I’m able to do Nuka World.

Haven’t been on fallout 4 ina second, but yeah Minutemen gang strong. But fallout wise (I know different subject) Caesars Legion gang strong

Edited by Dredgen Wolf: 7/30/2023 4:09:47 AMEnclave, via mods, rebuilding America today! Without mods usually BoS, but I kinda wish the Enclave mod was canon, I like killing the BoS, and I hate the Institute. I like the Bolt Action rifle, the regular version is janky and loads very slow, but with a Battlefield 1 inspired reload and reload animation it works much smoother. Boomers, Yes Man, BoS, NCR for retaking Hoover Dam. Yes Man for ground support, NCR for my frontline troops, BoS for a hot drop of reinforcements in Power Armor via vertibird, and Boomers for air support with our fancy B-29 Bomber.
