Hey there. A name reset to Guardian#XXXX usually means a code of conduct violation; a manual review followed by a reset to default. When this happens, the message the player receives is very misleading, and sounds like what you are describing.
What was your name before?

It was “Savathüssy” I am not the only who has this version of the name, as there’s several different kinds of it. On top of that, there has been worse names I’ve seen as I said in the original post.

That name violates Bungie's name policy, see the quote below. It was correctly removed.
Banned Name Policies Any Bungie Name that violates these policies or our Code of Conduct will be changed to "Guardian[Random Number]" and players may face an in-game ban. Changes performed by Bungie may consume a player's unused name change. Policies include, but aren't limited to: An auto-created name that becomes empty or becomes offensive due to our filtration process Mentions of Bungie, BNG, etc. or impersonation of a Bungie employee Personal identifying information (i.e. first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.) Hate speech Implicit or explicit -blam!- terms Website addresses Profanity https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/7648312251284-Bungie-Name-Guide
You are now stuck as Guardian forever. There is no way to appeal a forced name change. Bungie do tell us not to use offensive names.
I am not the only who has this version of the name,
That doesn't mean it's allowed. Those people will also have their name's removed in the near future. -
Of course it is, maybe they should present a more strict form of name changing to not allow these things. On top of that there should be a way to appeal for it, or rather be allowed to change it to to something that does not break the CoC. Possibly even reverting it to my gamer tag But I should not be punished permanently to the point where I’m never allowed to changed my name again, an unfair and unjust punishment if you ask me.

I just want to remind you that as per the Bungie Name guide, offensive names could lead to the account being banned. Since Bungie only reset your account you should be thankful they did that and not a full 500-year game ban. Your name violated Bungie's policies and they likely added it to their filters to prevent other players from using similar names in the future. Bungie does warn us directly under the name change box about using offensive usernames. If the user ignores those notices, that's on them. At the current time, there are no plans for a second name change so you are stuck as Guardian. Personally, I can't see Bungie ever giving us a second name change because people keep using offensive names which means they have to waste valuable time resetting those names and sometimes ban the player.
