1. The reduction to Resilience was minimal at best and the people who find the changes that noticeable were clearly crutching on it hard. 2. GM’s are just as easy as they were prior to the release of Lightfall. 3. Just because you ride the short struggle bus that doesn’t equate to it being a game issue. 4. 🍼

    #1 The moment I get demolished while inside a well of radiance, something is wrong. The well of radiance always allowed you to get exactly out in the open without being killed there immediately. Such crap makes the well pointless. #2 If I need to stay in cover all the time and can only peek out quickly to do some damage, something is wrong. #3 Despite of what you are saying, the heist battlegrounds were meant to be harder than the previous nightfalls, and it shows. Just look at the amount of champions there. #4 Stop being an arrogant brat.

  • Like I said, this is not a game issue. Nothing that you’ve said changes that, in fact all you’ve actually done is just further illustrate that the issue lies with you and your teammates not knowing what you’re doing. Every single GM can be played passively or aggressively and in a lot of cases playing too passive and too scared is what will ultimately get you killed. Also standing in a Well doesn’t automatically equate to being able to tank absolutely everything in a GM, this is nothing new. At the end of the day you’re complaining because you personally can’t achieve success in what is supposed to be one of the hardest endgame activities and then blaming the game for your own failures and shortcomings as a player. Clearly you need to rethink your build, loadout, strats, and yes maybe even teammates.

    I expanded my initial post. My real gripes are with the entire design of the battlegrounds nightfalls, which imo is awful. And yes, I didn't have a good team, and finding one alleviated the issue; But it didn't cure the underlying cause, and that's the activities' design. I expect my wits to be challenged by such "high end" activities, and not just my patience and perfect knowledge of the activity's design. The Lightblade managed to present such a challenge to me. Imo it's a perfect example of a really good and well designed nightfall. Something I would like to add is that you can stand in a well in the Sepiks Prime nightfall in the middle of a ton of ads and survive there. This is quite a difference to the moon battleground where I got insta gibbed in my well by two minors and an unstop's eye blast. So I insist that the battlegrounds nightfalls design is boring crap, just throwing tons of op ads at you with little real challenge. Skill is more than well swapping behind a create to be able to take out said unstops and blocking enough ad fire so that you will stay alive in your well, and knowing how to reach a cheese spot and use an invis hunter to dunk arc charges. That's not skill, that's knowledge at best. Just compare with the Lightblade, I'm saying it once again. There are no cheap tricks and approaches that will help you there, at least none that I'd know of. Even knowing how to handle the battlegrounds nightfalls now doesn't mean I feel more inclined to ever play them again unless for gilding my conquerer title or getting a nightfall weapon I'd really like to have. The Lightblade however? Oh yes, definitely. That one is cool, it's demanding, it's a challenge, it keeps me on my toes (at the boss) at all times.
