Bungie: “We want Titans to be the tanky melee class.”
Also Bungie: “Nerfs melee’s and reduces survivability for Titans.”

To be fair, when the reduce the survivability perks for every subclass I’m pretty sure titans will still be on top. The only survival verb they won’t have the best access to is Devour. They also didn’t touch the melee damage bonuses of Synthos or banner or war. And wormgods (which have been trash for 2+ years) are getting a neat rework

True and fair. I would have much rather see some buffs or reworks to Ward of Dawn and a couple other things like Arc in Endgame Content. But we did not get any of that.

100%. Hopefully with the changes they’re making to Bubble in the final shape, they’ll make it a bit more viable in endgame. Arc is sort of Titan’s glass cannon subclass. Maybe a 4th aspect like: - Static Lock - while amplified or Speed Booster is active, you emit an aura that reduces incoming damage and enemies have their outgoing damage reduced. When you become amplified so do nearby allies, and when nearby allies become amplified you do as well. Just a thought

Arc WAS the glass cannon before the nerfs. Rn the Arc grenades while strong aren't the strongest grenades anymore and are only slightly better than using a solar and the Falling Star Tcrash is only slightly better than some other single use supers while being worse than something like Pyrogale.

I’d agree that Lightning got hit really hard. (The grenade was OP but how much of it was the grenade and how much was HoIL?) Pulse grenade deals comparable damage with less RNG than a touch of flame Solar grenade, faster cooldown than solar grenade (2:01 to 2:32), and generates ionic traces which work to refund about 1/2 the grenade if you get all the pulses on a boss or champ. Pyrogale is really inconsistent and more of its damage is back-loaded on the tornados. T-crash does more of its damage instantly. Survivability isn’t an issue outside of GMs due to overshield.

Tcrash deals about 440K while Pyrogale deals about -blam!-. Most single use supers now deal about 340-360K with Needlestorm dealing 440K as well. Base Tcrash is about 220K making it the lowest damage single unless you count single shot tether. Pulse deals about 66K while a Solar grenade deals rng damage but ranges from 60-100K per a grenade (Though against bigger bosses you can basically always get the 100K damage) Pulse makes more traces if it hits more targets if every burst hits 1 target it only will regen about 25% of the grenade you need to be hitting about 3 targets to start getting most of the grenade back. Also a boss stomp on hero and legend breaks the overshield and take about a quarter while on master/rads/gm's it takes the overshield and about 60% and on a GM's/master raid/dungeons it takes about 80% (This is not including if the well/bubble is placed at a bosses feet when you Tcrash) pyrogale as long as there's no wall between you and the boss will basically always hit all 3 and you only need about 2 to get/surpass Tcrash with its exotic. Also Knockout and Juggernaut are HEAVILY pvp focused with knockout only being good up till Hero content and Juggernaut breaking in 1-2 shots in basically every bit of content and consuming more helpful abilities.
