To be completely fair, the nerfs to titans and warlocks were kinda needed. I’m glad they left hunters alone for once, bungie seems to always be set on keeping them bad in pve. The only change I’m actually mad about is the orb of power cooldown nerf. That change is beyond outrageous and if bungie doesn’t walk it back, I won’t be returning to the game. (I haven’t played for like 2 years, and was thinking of hopping back in next season. This change might even prevent me from coming back for final shape. It’s THAT bad.

  • Nerfs are not needed in PvE. PvP sure go for it but stop taking the fun out of the game when it was already lacking it to begin with. Balance will never and should never exist (besides for PvP) in a looter shooter.

  • they also triple nerfed Kickstart mods for no reason. Firstly, they've reduced the energy returned, second, the mods now require at least one armor charge to activate, and finally, they've limited the potential to create orbs with abilities by adding cooldowns/timers

  • To be honest, I don’t use them because I didn’t think they were that good anyway… but you’re right, they’re completely worthless now.

  • I guess it depends on your build, but for any subclass with good grenades or useful class abilities I would always use one or two for passive bonus regen, which is usually not much (~15% [1] - 20+% [2]), but they do help ability based builds. But, as is typical of Bungo, they mention how something contributes to a "problem", resolve said "problem", and then also nerf the thing that no longer aids an "issue" that doesn't exist anymore
