Was literally about to post this, I don't even know what mode to play for 6s atm, the already low player count has been diluted even further, checkmate should be some random garbage you see as frequently as iron banner, not a borderline core mode.

Not sure whether it made any difference. Checkmate/Standard control with supposedly (it's not) SBMM and Zone control with supposedly (it's not) CBMM, in combination all leading to confusion and long queue times in any mode. Meanwhile I wait for the first game and then stay in hoping for majority of players staying in for the next match as well leading to shorter consecutive queue times.

I found control by accident, after 5 mins was still at 1/12 so I left. Tried zone control twice, 1 started 1v4, the 4 was a stack, next started 1v5, the 5 was a 2 & 3. Tried relic, sane players every game, all using bows & ignoring the objective. Tme whole game is drowning because there's 9000 options. Tried running deep dives & salvage, 0 players, managed to get battlegrounds done from defiance but everyone was Chinese or Korean (I'm in the UK), everything feels far too stretched, the games just too full of rubbish
