The year is 2023.... Destiny 2 is currently 6 years old and things are... mixed reception. There are some who still play this game for a living, some who have fallen or retired to focus on life or other games. And then there's me: one remembers the days of Destiny 1 (2014-2016). I wanted to ask the question: What do you miss from Destiny 1 than Destiny 2?
I'll start:
- Old Tower social hub
- Gjallarhorn (pre-nerfed)
- Xur selling Sunbracers for three weeks straight that one time!
- The raids! Vault of Glass, King's Fall, Crota's End
- Dinklebot ("That wizard came from the Moon!", "A CELL FROM THE PRISON OF ELDERS")
- Strange coins
- Bungie Ninjas????
- Randal the Vandal, Greg the Dreg
- Sparrow Racing
- No Dungeons
- SUROS REGIME Crucible use
- ICEBREAKER!
- Venus (planet) destination
- Farming for materials
- LOOT CAVE (never forget)
- Rahool the Cryptarch and his folly
- Crucible Factions: Dead Orbit, FWC, and New Monarchy
- That one club room in the hangar
- The air fans
- Climbing the mountain in Rise of Iron
- House of Wolves and the Prison of Elders
- Warlock blink jump + shotgun combo in Crucible
- Dragon's Breath, Red Death, Last Word, and other forgotten exotic weapons
- RUIN WINGS (that continously gave you heavy ammo)
- Speaking of ammo, limited ammo
- Tutorial mission + intro cinematic
- Valus Ta'larc?
- SIVA
- That Year One review video made by Bungie
Let me know what else I missed, my memory has been fuzzy and I can't remember everything! Thank you and have a good day everyone!
