Experienced this all round but really ticks me off in trials. Trials is a whole other story but might as well seeing we are here.
Why am I queuing into trials games with either no wins or maybe 1 and then getting put up against absolute sweats that are trying for the lighthouse. Has literally happened 3 times this weekend where I have either 1 win or none (solo queuing btw) and then I lose to a team only to see the chat say that entire team has gained passage to the lighthouse.
Bungie fix your game. This is why the community gives so much hate lol.

Were you playing on a flawed card? Imo the only thing that could make the current MM worse would be adding card based MM to it. There’s nothing more demoralising spending the weekend falling at the gates while watching the other complete their card

I’m not saying change it to card based MM. I’m honestly trying to figure out what all has changed because I haven’t played since June of last year and just started again a couple weeks ago and just got to power where I can compete with trials players. I’m just trying to figure out the same thing as the main post. I have a decent game and then I’m up against people going for lighthouse even though I’m no where near it.

Ahh ok, yeah they have changed it then. Instead of the old card based then flawless pool, MM is now connection based with a challenger pool for players that are chasing flawless and a practice pool for those with flawed cards. In the challenger pool you can match players at any stage of their card. That’s probably the only decent part of it, Trials MM is disgustingly bad
