Crucible matchmaking is different and worse
I know what everyone is going to say - "population is down" - "matchmaking is always bad" - no, this is different. Something is going on. Very good players are getting matched with very bad players, and of course lobby balancing feels random AT BEST.
Just had a match where the efficiencies of one team ranged from 1.7 to 12.5 and the other ranged from .4 to .9. It was a pointless match. Nobody learned anything, the outcome was a foregone conclusion before it even began.
What's going on?

This is a really niche reference I’m about to make, but in the show The Good Place, the committee that runs the Good Place is just how I imagine this “pvp strike team.” Unable to get anything done because they are so focused on making everyone in the committee feel happy rather than focusing on efficiency of the task. Sorry if you don’t understand, I promise it makes sense.
