But really, Bungie...

Bungie... Is it too much to ask, to let people delete their own posts in your forums, or is this beyond Bungie capabilities? I mean, think of how great it would be if someone asks a question or has a concern, gets it solved, then can just delete it. A truly amazing, and unheard of concept, right? I can't believe nobody has ever thought of this anywhere else... But really Bungie... Come on.

If people could delete their posts it would allow them to say malicious things before a moderator can take action. Deleting posts is a terrible idea. Users can, however, edit the title of their post to request for it to be locked. There is no reason whatsoever for anyone to need to delete their post. • People have asked for this in the past but what about those who would post unsavory things on the forum and then delete them after to avoid punishment for violating the CoC? I think this is the reasoning behind not letting us delete posts; accountability.
