Imagine a book where the characters are all named like the monster titles in This is Halloween

The Who In The Call Who's There was walking down the road. She was excited to finally be back after so long. She'd only been gone a year, but it felt like she'd been gone for a decade, and she just couldn't wait to see her old house, and her old friends, and of course, she couldn't wait to see The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair again. The two of them had been chatting rather frequently over video calls and such, but it just wasn't the same as meeting in person. Now that she was back, The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair's house was the first stop on her list! Evidently, however, life had other plans. Only a few minutes after she got off the bus, she heard a voice. "Omigosh!" They called. "Is that The Who In The Call Who's There?! Hey, The Who In The Call Who's There! Over here!" The Who In The Call Who's There turned to see the source of the voice, and she saw The One Hiding Under Your Bed With Teeth Ground Sharp And Eyes Glowing Red frantically waving at her. "Heey!" The Who In The Call Who's There yelled waving back. She happily jogged over to her old friend. The two hugged as they got close. "The One Hiding Under Your Bed With Teeth Ground Sharp And Eyes Glowing Red! How have you been?" "Forget about me!" The One Hiding Under Your Bed With Teeth Ground Sharp And Eyes Glowing Red said. "I didn't know you were back in town! When did you get here?!" "Not that long ago, actually. Don't worry, I was gonna come see you. I was just going to go see The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair first." "Ha, figures.. You, um.. You did hear, though, right?" "Hear about what?" "About The One Hiding Under Your Stairs With Fingers Like Snakes And Spiders In My Hair?" "No. What about her?" "Oh.. Well, y'see.. She and The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair.. They're kinda, like, a thing, now.. Y'know, dating?" The Who In The Call Who's There's heart sank. Dating? The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair and The One Hiding Under Your Stairs With Fingers Like Snakes and Spiders In My Hair? When did this happen? How come The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair never said anything? "Oh!" The Who In The Call Who's There said, clasping her hands together and doing her best to maintain her cheeriness. "That's- Certainly news!" "..I'm sorry. I know you and The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair were-" "No, no, it's fine! I was gone for, like, a year, I'm not expecting him to put his life on hold for me! That would be stupid!" "Are you still gonna go see him? I know that might be kinda hard.." "Of course I am! Didn't you just hear me, I've been gone for a year! I should probably.. Go, so, uh, bye!" The Who In The Call Who's There spun on her heels, and started speedwalking down the sidewalk. "Bye.." The One Hiding Under Your Bed With Teeth Ground Sharp And Eyes Glowing Red muttered. ----- The Who In The Call Who's There's brain was jumbling through a mess of questions she didn't have the answer to all the way to The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair's house. Suddenly, her surprise re-entrance into everyone's life seemed significantly less charming, and she was worried she was going to knock on the door only to get told to go away. It took every ounce of willpower she had to not just run back to her own home, but somehow she made it up to the door, and lightly tapped against it. The one who opened was not The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair, but rather, his dad; The Shadow Of The Moon At Night Filling Your Dreams To The Brim With Fright. "Now hold on here, let me get my glasses.." The Shadow Of The Moon At Night Filling Your Dreams To The Brim With Fright said, closing the door before The Who In The Call Who's There could say a thing. She almost turned and walked away, but then the door opened back up. The Shadow Of The Moon At Night Filling Your Dreams To The Brim With Fright did not have any glasses on. "No way, it is! The Who In The Call Who's There!" The Who In The Call Who's There found herself pulled into a hug. "When did you get back! Man, The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair would not shut up about you while you were gone!" "R-Really?" The Who In The Call Who's There asked. Her mood lifted a bit. Maybe.. He still.. "Yeah, come on in! I'll go get him!" The Shadow Of The Moon At Night Filling Your Dreams To The Brim With Fright ran back inside, leaving the door open for The Who In The Call Who's There to just walk inside. It felt a little awkward, both because of the situation, and because she hadn't been here in so long, but she made her way inside, and made her way up to the couch. Only a few moments later, The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair walked into the room. She got up from the couch, and was about to say hi, but that was when The One Hiding Under Your Stairs With Fingers Like Snakes And Spiders In My Hair also stepped into the room. She was the first one to speak up. "OMG, The Who In The Call Who's There, is that really you!" "Uh.. Yeah, it's.. Uh, really me." "No way, I haven't seen you in forever, girl!" "Like...wise.." The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair must've sensed the awkwardness in the room, as he looked as though he was about to step forward and say something, but that was when The Shadow Of The Moon At Night Filling Your Dreams To The Brim With Fright walked back in the room, and pulled all three of them into one big group hug. The Who In The Call Who's There felt like she wanted to die, but did her best to keep a smile on her face. Making an awkward laugh, she pulled out of the hug, and stepped back towards the front door. "You know, I think I'm just going to go!" She said, opening it. "The Who In The Call Who's There, wait!" The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair said. "No, no, it's okay, uh, bye!" She pulled the door shut, and clenched her fists. Her arms wrapped tightly around herself as she quickly walked down the sidewalk. She heard the door open behind her, but didn't look back to see who it was, and was around the corner before anyone could call her name again. Her first day back, and she'd wished she never came home.
