(The elimination match is about to commence, and technicians are planting a gadget within the ground that creates a golden energy dome. The dome continues to expand until a good majority of the combat zone is covered. Lower ranked SFT fighters and VCO combatants have to push each other out of the dome, and if all fighters in one organization are eliminated, the other organization wins and gets the point.)
Saitonia: *saying to himself* This looks quite new. Or maybe they have done this before and I just wasn't interested.
(In the section where Aino and the rest of the group are.)
Ainotias: There's bound to be cheaters in this one. You wouldn't think a fighter could just teleport out the dome, keep themselves hidden, then try to steal a win?
Esadius: Many have tried, but have failed as energy domes like this come with highly advanced sensors. Before contestants enter, they must not display any kind of power, and as they enter the dome, a circular scanner scans registered fighters. If a fighter were to teleport and end up anywhere outside the dome, a large screen will render them eliminated.
Sakiro: I assure you that fighters have tried cheating that system.
Kaburo: Heh, let's see who tries this time.

[FIGHT SEQUENCE]
*The elimination match has long commenced, and throughout it, several fighters from the SFT and VCO are sent flying out of the dome from various moves like energy blasts, punches, throws, even an SFT fighter tries gripping a pillar to stay within the dome, only for a VCO combatant to summon a war hammer and smash the SFT fighter's hand, losing his grip and falling outside the dome.*
*On another side of the dome, a male VCO combatant in a dark blue, brown, and red outfit is eliminated by a male SFT fighter in a black bodysuit with a light green glow throughout the suit. The same VCO combatant punches a prop in anger, breaking off a decently sized chunk and sending it flying. As the VCO combatant watches the same SFT fighter that eliminated him get into battle with another VCO combatant, he watches for a few seconds until the SFT fighter is on the edge of the dome, running over and yanking him out, rendering the same SFT fighter eliminated. Some of the attendees notice the foul play and yell, with one saying: "That VCO guy cheated! Security, the one in this dark blue and red outfit over here!" Security doesn't take long as they break up the fight that nearly started, but more importantly, forcefully escorting the roguish VCO combatant out the combat zone.*
*Minutes and many eliminations later, the final remaining fighters are returning characters all the way from Arc 1; Yaibayori and Nautimizu from the SFT. The 2 have also updated their appearances, with Nautimizu wearing a crown with the theme of a sea dragon, and expandable, sharp blue, scaly wings on her back, while Yaibayori and his spiky, messy black hair is much longer, reaching his lower back, his fur suit is black with glowing white tints, and his clawed boots are white with black claws and details. The 2 are up against 2 VCO combatants named Phydris and Xagero.*
*Starting with Phydris; a female combatant outfitted in lustrous, flimsy, silver, orange, and red gladiator armor, silver forearm and shoulder pads with small, glowing red spikes, and knee pads and greaves that follow the same color pattern. Her face and medium blonde hair is mostly covered by a silver helmet with glowing red eyes and a red visor. She wields a heavy, double bladed sword with an orange glow. Then Xagero, a male combatant who stands slightly taller and takes the appearance of a sci-fi super soldier. A navy blue bodysuit under glossy, gray shoulder pads, gauntlets, and greaves, with the gray chestplate having a glowing light blue circle in the middle. He wears a gray, ballistic mask with a glowing, light blue right eye. Unlike Phydris, Xagero stands unarmed, possibly preferring to use energy abilities over melee weaponry.*
*Yaibayori leaps towards Xagero, responding by firing a thin white beam that suspends him mid-air. He goes to follow up by placing his hands in the shape of a triangle, white energy emitting from his hands, but Nautimizu rolls under the double-bladed sword attack from Phydris and fires a small stream of water that knocks Xagero back. She then shoots a droplet at Yaibayori, canceling out the suspension ability as he lands back on the ground. The ground under the 2 SFT fighters is highlighted by a holographic, white triangle. Not sticking around to find out what the ability does, the 2 jump out the way, Yaibayori pursues Xagero while Nautimizu pursues Phydris.*
*Nautimizu places 2 water barriers in front of her that are sliced apart by Phydris, whose head and torso are then entrapped by a water bubble Nautimizu summoned. The water bubble was only a distraction as Nautimizu summons a medium-sized cataract. She then points both her hands at Phydris, signaling the cataract as it comes down, cascading onto Phydris and throwing her out of the dome, eliminating her.*
*Turning her attention to Yaibayori, who isn't doing very well in his battle with Xagero, Nautimizu joins in, hitting Xagero in the back with a turning right kick while her right leg emits a flow of water, dealing some extra damage. Yaibayori then clutches onto Xagero's head with his claws, jumps a little above 15 feet in the air, and as he goes to throw Xagero out of the dome, he's unknowingly hit by a thin, nearly elusive energy beam, swapping Yaibayori's position with Xagero, as Yaibayori is sent flying out the dome, appearing as if he eliminated himself.*
*Unable to comprehend how her fellow SFT fighter eliminated himself, Nautimizu now acts in the heat of the moment. She fires water beams that scorch Xagero's eyes, disrupting his vision, then fires a medium wave while he's blinded. Xagero shoots another thin beam to activate the same position swapping ability, but Nautimizu evades to the right, placing forth a small stream swiftly moving midair, taking the hit of the substitution blast, swapping positions of Xagero and the stream of water. As Xagero's vision clears, he's met with a swift barrage of combination attacks from Nautimizu, a water aura surrounding her body for extra damage, with her ending the barrage with a huge, torrential beam. She then summons a larger cataract and sends it cascading onto Xagero as he desperately tries to fight it, but ends up getting wiped out the dome.*

[FIGHT SEQUENCE OVER:
*The SFT wins the elimination match courtesy of Nautimizu's persistence.*
Auro: *on the mic* SFT's Nautimizu is the last one standing. Therefore, the SFT wins the elimination match, putting the SFT in the lead by 4-2!
*The crowd cheers again. Maybe at this progress, they're confident in a comeback that'll humiliate the VCO and shatter their ego. However, there are only 2 more fights left to achieve this comeback; Brotonos vs. Crolythicai, and Sephinon vs. the unknown combatant.*
_______________
(SIU HQ, the Director, her top agents, Crisha's parents, and even random members are currently fixated on the combat event. Segoma taps into her earpiece in response to its light beeping noise.)
Unnamed SIU Agent: *male voice from the earpiece, letting out a sigh of relief* Well, someone answered. I'm here in 2026, hacked into a cator of Saitonia's subordinates, and I've found out that Saitonia and his...what does he call it? "Saitorealm"? Has a dossier on this bioweapon kept contained in the Ruler's Palace.
Segoma: Really? That means he must know the name of it and exactly how to use it to his advantage, right?
Unnamed SIU Agent: I would assume. Shit! I think some of his subordinates see me! Gotta escape them, I'll be back! *abruptly shuts off*
*Segoma turns off her earpiece, then looks up to see Crisha, Drakar, and Sagon looking at her, attempting to interpret what she was talking about.*
Segoma: So one of us traveled to 2026, hacked a cator of future Saitonia's minions, and discovered that he holds a dossier on the bioweapon. He got spotted and suddenly ended the call.
The Director: *sternly* We will have to retrieve that dossier. They can't keep it locked up as long as they want to. Who knows how soon he'll weaponize it and cause mass genocide?
Segoma: Is that what's supposed to happen according to the timeline? It's contained within the Ruler's Palace in 2026 and possibly kept very guarded.
Crisha: So future Saitonia really doesn't want anyone subverting his grasp on the bioweapon. I think current Saitonia will be very essential in this mission. Director, we need to be very, very strategic even getting inside 2026 to begin with.

(Back at the coliseum, the 2nd to last fight is about to begin; Brotonos vs. Crolythicai. Some attendees are hurrying to their seats as quickly as possible, eager because these are one of THE best of their respective combat organizations.)
Auro: *on the microphone* Representing the SFT; one of our most dominant fighters for the past decade; Brotonos!
*Brotonos slowly makes his way to the combat area, looking back at 3 of his masked initiators, clad in gold and white, cybernetic bodysuits with coattails hung over their hips. From the platforms, Aredeses glares at the 3 initiators in disgust before turning her gaze to the crowd.*
*Continuing Below*
-
*Continued Below* Aredeses: *on the microphone, in Greek* (And representing the VCO; 9-time Spartiate Crown and 6-time Gladiatorial Shield winner; Crolythicai!) *Thunderous cheers emerge from the Vaisallian crowd, and on the Vaisallon side of the coliseum, the entrance slides open, revealing a male with a satiny, cyber outfit, standing nearly 7 feet tall. He wears a black gladiator helmet with a dark blue visor and glowing orange eyes overlapping and a light blue, high ponytail plume. Under the helmet is light skin with a golden undertone, medium black hair, and azure-blue eyes. His top consists of an orange robe with a wide, round collar with glowing blue edges, dark blue shoulder armor, and black gauntlets with an orange glowing hue. Under the robe is black, orange, and dark blue cyber combat armor that becomes black with orange glow at the lower leg and feet area.* Ainotias: *uneased* Ooh....he looks cool, but just so intimidating. Esadius: As he should. If you didn't catch what she said, and keep in mind that I barely know Greek, but she mentioned that he's a 9-time Spartiate Crown and 6-time Gladiatorial Shield winner. Absolutely no joke of an accomplishment. He'd be over the requirements to be Vaisallian King. Kavita: *raspy exhale* I'll still...put some trust in Brotonos to give this "Crolythicai" a tough fight. *Idonios steps out of the darkness to say something to Crolythicai. He adds in Greek: "The Gladiatorial King wanted me to come out here to tell you...to go all out on Brotonos. Teach him a lesson for representing our opposition." Crolythicai says nothing, just nods.* _____________________ [FIGHT SEQUENCE] *In their respective languages, Auro and Aredeses call out: "Let. This. Match. BEGIIIIIN!* *Brotonos and Crolythicai are at a standoff, several meters away from each other as they can just feel the tension from the cheering crowd. From inside the bases of the SFT and the VCO, their respective fighters are grouped together, eyes glued to a wide screen in the lobbies. So much suspense and intrigue for a second-to-last fight.* *Brotonos summons 6 energy discs in a hexagon, hovering above him. He then slowly prowls around, just looking for Crolythicai to make a move, but the combatant just stands there, following Brotonos with his eyes. Brotonos walks up on Crolythicai's right before landing forth a spinning strike at speeds that even the crowd themselves couldn't catch. That strike was unfortunately blocked by an orange energy barrier covering Crolythicai's entire body. To try and break the barrier, Brotonos just unleashes a barrage of combo attack ranging from Capoeira-based kicks to disc blast variations, but it barely does any damage to the barrier. He then commands his 6 energy discs to fire at Crolythicai in unison, causing a small explosion, but as the yellow smoke clears, the barrier is barely cracked.* *Brotonos is definitely annoyed, so he tries something different; he kneels down and shoots an energy disc from below. The disc doesn't pass through the barrier, but it sticks, shooting out a yellow beam that weakens the barrier. As the barrier dissipates, Brotonos lunges with another spinning strike, only for his right arm to be caught by Crolythicai, countering the attack by throwing him a few meters away. As Brotonos raises his head, Crolythicai is already right in front of him, firing a large, orange energy wave. Brotonos had enough time to guard himself with a yellow barrier, but that energy wave destroyed it, the shockwave sent Brotonos back a few more meters.* *Crolythicai teleports in Brotonos' face again, lifting his right leg up as he goes for a kick, Brotonos hitting it with his right disc blade. It seems that the hit causes some parts of Crolythicai's body to be highlighted in a light blue, such as his head, back of the neck, sides of the abdomen, and his calves, as if that hit exposed all of his weak spots. Crolythicai just stands there, tensed up as Brotonos attacks those specific parts of the body with his Capoeira-like punches and kicks. 7 seconds into the barrage, Brotonos doesn't see any sign of Crolythicai, weakening, actually, it's the other way around, so he jumps far back, transforms into a giant disc, and just bolts at Crolythicai to end the barrage. As he comes upon contact, a light blue energy outline shoots out of Crolythicai's right hand and forms a holographic field that covers a good portion of the combat zone, more so where Brotonos is at.* *Brotonos is forced to return to his normal form due to an insufficient amount of energy used for his disc form abilities. He tries to fight against the holographic energy field, but all of his senses are disoriented.* Ainotias: *appalled at Crolythicai's urge of using abilities that seem like hacks or cheats* Ugh, is that even allowed?! Brotonos is completely oblivious! Esadius: Unfortunately, yes. There are no rules in actual outside fights, but in combat tournaments, just no use of anything above Scale 9 or the use of a power that can destroy arenas and put spectators at risk of injury. *A light blue outline overtakes Brotonos' body, weakening him even more as he suddenly drops to a knee. Crolythicai teleports at him and attacks the joints, nearly immoblizing Brotonos. He then grabs Brotonos by the top of his chestplate, then as light blue energy intensifies in the same hand grasping Brotonos, he absorbs his energy, looking down slightly as Brotonos is slouched over, not even moving. He then lifts Brotonos up with ease, takes his other hand, and puts it to Brotonos's chest, firing a massive orange energy wave, followed by a beam that nearly hits the sky. As the blast ends, Crolythicai is seen standing, his left hand raising a motionless Brotonos.* ______________________ [FIGHT SEQUENCE OVER] *The fight concludes as Crolythicai just throws Brotonos, putting the score at 4 for SFT, 3 for VCO. The crowd is furious, as if they were robbed of a historical fight between 2 top fighters of their respective combat organizations, all to end so shortly by cheap abilities. Looking down at the combat area, Auro turns away and faceplams while Aredeses snickers behind her back.* Aredeses: *in Greek* (Your winner is Crolythicai!) *laughs into the mic* Auro: *inaudible, under her breath* No need to gloat, other announcer; "Aradassy". *Inside the office of the Vaisallian base, Roman and his loyalists cheer lightly from Crolythicai's easy triumph.* Idonios: You think he went all out like you requested, Gladiatorial King? Roman: Crolythicai did enough to send the message. Speaking of sending a message, we also have some of my hoplites "redecorating" another SFT arena as of now. Atomidio: Hmph, good to know. I'd suggest burning some businesses down, but the Purple Cloaks already have that covered, *faint chuckle* especially for their hatred for Liomage. Enierion: Galacist, Euchron, they're the same if you ask me. Grandmaster Riuno: The final fight is soon to commence, my Gladiatorial King. Are you ready? *Roman gets up from his throne and looks down at the coliseum, then the Saitranovia base directly across from him, then turns around to his loyalists.* Roman: Yes. Sephinon will be vanquished. ________________________ END:
