I love the idea of the commendations and was really excited to see it in action, but the implementation of it has been absolutely preposterous. It's no wonder so few people actually use commendations; the shred of time we have to vote is drastically wasted by console cursor movement speed.
Not only do we have to move cursor (which is super slow on consoles) to find the guardian, then we have to make sure it clicks properly, and then move all the way to the middle again to vote, wasting so many seconds on just the movement.
My solution is to have a 3-box zone above/below each guardian, so all you have to do is click one of the three boxes, and that corresponding box grays out for all the others. If needed, a little talk-bubble could appear which indicates what the box means. One click, done.
