I did, where i'm from there's a lot of "weird food", usually pizza but we also mess with burgers and sushi sometimes.
It's fine, pineapple goes really well with meat, makes it tender, but I wouldn't go out of my way or pay extra for a slice of it in a burger. Personally I prefer hot sauce over the sweet/sour taste of pineapple.

A fair point since hot sauce goes well with soooooo many things, but only if it's a good hot sauce. It needs to have a solid flavor and not simply be hot for the sake of it.

I used to be a fan of 'Texas Pete' but ever since I tried a bottle of 'Cholula's' (specifically the sweet habanero and the chipotle, although the green pepper is really good to), I haven't used anything else. Total convert, lol.
