Between Target Lock and being able to proc Radiant just by shooting someone it's no wonder Summoner has become the top auto rifle

Target Lock is terrible on Summoner. There are much better options like Golden Tricorn or Onslaught.

I'd still like to know how Summoner continues to beat so many auto rifles.

There's plenty of other auto rifles. Positive outlook, breakneck, and tigerspite all can deal with the bitter bitters. Some can't even do one persistence passage because they do not have the staminas.

Those don't work like Summoner does though. There's something going on under the hood. It's only going to get worse when Precision auto rifles get nerfed.

Summoner does the thing like I noticed calus mini tool do but I don't think its quite as bad. People are probably going to want to have that until they get their hands on something new once pulses and hand cannons come up though. I don't see it as all that much of a problem because a lot of the people that would be "problems" for the lobby will probably be using other things pretty soon.
