Trials is the "free for all/ skill gap" playlist. Its goal, which is winning in streaks, requires some kind of perceived imbalance. But the fact is that trials matchmaking is fair because it treats everyone equally. You have the same pool of players, MM, lobby balancing, pool of guns, pool of abilities, map, and goal. The primary success factor is you and what you as a player bring to the match in skill. This, of course, applies to everyone in the lobby. It's an equality playlist. Everyone is treated the same outside of the practice pool, which is for practice. You go into trials and see how you compare to everyone else with no MM handholding. If you want equity, go to comp or an sbmm playlist. Where it attempts to make everyone equal or even. ."Fair" is highly subjective, and if you want to argue with my statement, I suggest not making fair the crux of your argument.

  • I have to say your facts about gear and abilities are very much wrong titans supposed op abilities all got nerfed into the ground. Now on warlocks a rift is a game changer not to mention the selection of subclass melees that are all ranged with more power. The hunter oh yeah nothing can touch a hunter in pvp hardly at all now for the gear I have to point out something you missed in your explanation. Trial weapons are not gated to be used only in trials many are using them to rock every match in their favor and because why? Well it’s simple they have the perks on them that greatly enhance them plus trial weapons are the only ones for pvp that get adept which means they get to use the adept pvp mods that further enhance them. Now the exotics warlocks have exotics like mantle of battle harmony to get their super a bit faster hunters get stuff like oathkeeper to one shot players with bows. Titans don’t get much on an offensive side they are stuck with mostly defensive stuff and something else you didn’t point out is every season what weapons work besides trial weapons changes. There is no matter what game mode you play in pvp is there any sign of fair matchmaking I ask you to stop defending bungie I used to be good in pvp I once almost got to the lighthouse in trials for the first time but a simple detail is heavily missed too. The simple fact their so called battle eye or whatever anti cheat programs they use heavily fail right now I’m seeing a lot of titans and warlocks one shot with wishender but when I try it and land a headshot it doesn’t do the same and I can’t find anything about how they are doing it. If it was a hunter I could see that but nothing can be justified for pvp the sad sad truth out of facts is bungie failed us with what they promised in their last few updates when bungie goes under I’m never touching pvp again but until then I still want to get just one trials weapon with good rolls to enjoy myself.

Now on warlocks a rift is a game changer not to mention the selection of subclass melees that are all ranged with more power. The hunter oh yeah nothing can touch a hunter in pvp hardly at all
That has nothing to do with the fact that you have the same pool of options that anyone else has, you have the same class options and ability options in your account. You completely missed the point and complained about an irrelevant tangent
now for the gear I have to point out something you missed in your explanation. Well it’s simple they have the perks on them that greatly enhance them plus trial weapons are the only ones for pvp that get adept which means they get to use the adept pvp mods that further enhance them.
This is also irrelevant you have the same pool of weapons anyone else does and pve adepts can use pvp adept mods too, and to the average player an adept mod won't be a game changer. Even if this wasn't irrelevant it'd still be a bad argument. Titans don’t get much on an offensive side they are stuck with mostly defensive stuff and something else you didn’t point out is every season what weapons work besides trial weapons changes.
Again irrelevant, everyone has those same options
There is no matter what game mode you play in pvp is there any sign of fair matchmaking I ask you to stop defending bungie I used to be good in pvp I once almost got to the lighthouse in trials for the first time but a simple detail is heavily missed too. I'd argue with you, but nothing here actually addresses anything I said, so to do so would be to derail the entire comment. I legitimately am trying to decide if you were drinking when you made this comment.

  • Way too much effort to try and attempt discourse with someone who is rage writing.

Too true. I considered not responding to them at all, but this was just a bit more on the gibberish side than most in context, kinda wanted to hear if they had reasoning outside of my obvious assumptions.
