Destiny 3 will cost 48k if you want everything.....

One sec... I read the wrong game, and the number is off. Star Citizen will cost 58,000 usd IF you want everything. You need to spend 1k first, then spend another 9k, then you unlock the 48k "microtransaction" that will ensure that you get any piece of content developed for the game. And the game isn't even out yet. If you invest almost 60k into a game, you should get points... meaning revenue share. I bring this up... why? A few months ago (around the time of the Final Shape showcase), the Star Citizen game engine was getting tons of hype and there were players here posting about it. Look at Star Citizen's engine compared to the bare minimum Bungie does with the Tiger engine. Star Citizen "cares" about the player experience... about their players. 😬 How does it look now? This is what maximum effort looks like I guess. Over 10 yrs in development using crowd sourced funding from gamers... and now you can pay an additional 58k if you want the complete edition of the game. I would be ashamed to be this developer. Any tech or gaming news outlet hyping this game, promoting it as an independent game should be ashamed of themselves. I don't care how amazing the tech is. Star Citizen is a scam. The craziest money-men hustle I've ever seen. Never compare Destiny 2 (the franchise and developer) to that of Star Citizen. One is a game... a gaming studio (Bungie)... one is a pyramid scheme (Star Citizen). I’m gonna dissect this bit by bit. To clarify I’m a fan of BOTH Destiny and Star citizen. Nobody in their right mind is gonna pay $58,000. And realistically you don’t need everything in star citizen. BUT if you wanted to? You can buy everything in game with credits… Game is not out yet you’re right, but hopefully it will be soon (not for another 10390 years in reality lmao) Reason why players were posting about it was the new update that I believe is now out with revolutionary tech for servers. That and some new cool capital ships being shown off, and a whole new galaxy for the persistent universe, AND the story mode squadron 42 being shown off. See above about engine ^ TL:DR about the bugs in SC is because they were working on the brand new tech along with other advancements it would’ve meant that when a bug got fixed it would have likely either broken something else or just break again with further updates with the tech. Now that everything is/will be soon in place they’re starting to iron everything out properly. Once again ‘58k’ is a strawman when I can buy every single vehicle and ship I could possibly want in game with credits and most of these ships included that aren’t flyable yet? Are in prototype phase which means they aren’t even apart of the game itself yet… Nobody should be ashamed of marketing a game they’re passionate about. And assuming everything works out star citizen will be one of the most revolutionary games of all time. As you say you don’t care about the objectively revolutionary stuff the game is doing and only try and bring it down to bring up Destiny…for some reason…furthermore I would wager $20 you’ve never even touched star citizen in the first place yet are sat here spouting all this shitè
