I'm not coping. I barely play anymore. If it dies, it dies. Plenty of other games out there. I couldn't help but get the same vibe is all. More of an observation than anything

I think it's unlikely. IF it does happen, Bungie won't be steering it.

The amount of money that D1 and D2 have made has all but assured that we will eventually get a D3.

I believe 100% that Sony will takeover Bungie before long. TFS and Marathon won't save the current company. Sony won't toss away the name though. Sony Bungie would helm that project. Like I said though, its purely a tin foil hat moment of mine. But as someone who played all those years ago, I can't help but draw parallels from the design and their overall attitude going into ITL. I may not play much but I still keep up with it out of sheer curiosity at this point.

I agree. His recent promotion to executive creative director has also influenced my tin foil hat moment lol. Perhaps a new creative vision for the destiny franchise. It may suck a lot right now, but corporations don't just throw away storied IPs like Destiny. In a few years time, with the proper marketing, people will forget Lightfall was even a thing
