I think that depends on what kind of new start we would get. I hated the D2 reset. I hated Sunsetting. I hate the DCV. That all feels like it was for nothing because we continued the same character. If we got a true sequel set in the future with a new guardian with new possibilities for loot, I think I would be inclined to be more forgiving since it's a brand new slate. But again, I know that's giving current Bungie and Sony a lot of credit to their ability. I just can't help but draw parallels to their happy go lucky attitude with all this. I know they're trying to win back customers. But doing this just to piss everyone off with potential nerfs and sunsetting again would show they're more braindead than we assume them to be. At least one would think.
