Firstly I've been here 10 years, so I'm kinda over the whole bringing back guns we've had years earlier. I've never known anything like it, other games do it of course but people were warning bungie 6 years ago about crutching on nostalgia, but this whole year has been next level. 3 streams, n absolutely nothing new, & next week's is even more old things revealed, making it free doesn't make it exampt from criticism. Imagine me taking your jacket away 10 years ago, a jacket you'd bought yourself. I tell you I've got you a really good surprise & make you wait 4 months before I give it you, then gift it back to you only I've stitched your initials on the back & expect you to be super grateful when in reality you're gonna be like dude this isn't a gift, I bought this myself 10 years ago, & it's not in fashion anymore & I say but it's got your initials stitched in so it's new. Yikes

I can understand, since I, like others, put in a great deal of time to earn Recluse and Mountaintop some time ago. Sunsetting weapons was never a good idea and was an insult to the players investment of time and money. But, I also realize that virtually no weapons are "New" as most are typically based on existing archetypes with a new name, a modification of the skin, and a slightly different perk pool. I imagine Recluse and Mountaintop 2.0 will be "New" in that sense, so I am excited about the reissue. If they came out with weapons with different names and different skin, but still the same archetype with a better perk pool, then I would still want them. But in all honesty, I am looking forward to using those two nostalgic weapons again in content enforcing the current light level.

I mean your statement was dishonest and misleading. They just pointed out the part that was.
