Lol, I recently considered buying a PS5 solely because they recently ported Star Wars Episode 1 to it.
I am still considering it tbh; it is easily one of my favourite games and although the PC version is objectively better the convenience of consoles just handling old games without fuss is easily worth the trade-off.
(Although, I would like to play the Spider-Man games again, so we can say I would be buying the console for about 4 games rather than just 1 25-year-old one)

PlayStation does subscriptions like PS plus extra has about 300 games chose from. They add about 20 new games a month.

Yes. It’s a straight up port afaik so not a remaster or anything worth buying, but I would buy it anyway

The Royal Gardens part sneaking out of Naboo always, particularly pissed me off because the damn tank surprised me. Obi Wan-"What is that gas coming out of the floor" Droid "it is excess steam from our ventilation, I apologize for any discomfort" I remember thinking, where was this brilliant dialog in the movie??

I managed to find one a few years back that worked well but then I got a new laptop and decided it wasn’t worth the clutter, as it installed it as if it was the full game not just an emulator file. So… I may have just impulse bought a ps5 thanks to Amazon’s instalment plan feature…
