When prismatic was first revealed (yesterday lol) I thought it was bungie giving their players an opportunity to truly buildcraft with the training wheels off. It seemed like they made prismatic for the more hardcore who wanted to experiment with everything available to them with no walls between the elements.
After the Deep dive article today, I still feel that, but I also can’t help but feel a little let down.
What I thought was gonna be tearing down walls appears to be more like a sampler platter.
It’s still very cool, but it feels bad to be shown all that stuff with the reveal and have your mind racing with “woah! Does this mean I can summon both solar and arc souls with a single rift?!” And then the very next day reading “no haha you get one aspect a piece”
I’m still greatly looking forward to it, but I hope that the ability teams might slowly add the rest of the supers, aspects, grenades, and melee abilities to this subclass so we can truly have the freedom to experiment and make some insane builds.
I understand this could have some design and technical challenges, but I sincerely hope this is taken under consideration
I am still very excited for the Final Shape

I guess I should read the article first but if its successful you'd think they would probably add more over time. Too much at once would probably be a mess and some of us have pretty limited buildcrafting skills as it is. And some of us can't work a persistence passage card. So it probably doesn't need to be too complex when first released.
